Why are there flies here to irritate us? Besides the reasons given above; Paramahansa Yogananda said that in the higher astral realms there are no such things. (See the Autobiiography of a Yogi ) i suppose they are here to clean up the messes and remind us where we still are. Not by any means a wonderful tourist resort!
Yogananda also said; “this life at best is a nest full of problems”.

Being in places and in a car or trailer where there are soft rains and cool air without a lot of flies and mosquitoes, or around others that love meditation is definetly a plus. And we recognize that having financial security is often not risk free at all but often we build a web around us that entombs our spiritual efforts.

I have found that sometimes faces or pictures from the past can bring distinct feelings in us that may relate to experiences in a past life and emotional reactions to these experiences.
