In the last two years, I was forced to curtail very substantially my meditation time. There was no anger or irrationality, but of course, I feel something is missing.

Steve, here I'll have to agree to disagree, the lefts do not want just to speak of sex and biology, they want to indoctrinate the young boys to make them accept as biologically natural an aberration, a blatant denial of the law of karma which assigns a biological sex to everyone (barred an absolute minority) according to their past actions.

But again, I agree with this disagreement.

This makes sense to me.  When I don't get time to center, I'm not my best self, and become easily irritated and generally unhappy with myself.  Meditation centers me and helps me be in contact with the self I most like to be ~

Creation Spirituality is a profound and inclusive approach to understanding the divine and our interconnectedness with the cosmos. Let me share some insights about it:
Definition:

Creation Spirituality asserts that divinity permeates all things, and every aspect of existence bears the imprint of the divine. However, the totality of existence cannot fully encapsulate the mystery of the divine.

Renegade priest and environmental activist Matthew Fox beautifully describes it: “If all of Creation had been whispering the story of its own spirituality for 13.5 billion years…we would call that story Creation Spirituality.”

Panentheism:
At the core of Creation Spirituality lies a theological concept called Panentheism. This term literally means “all in God.”

Unlike classical theism, which often portrays God as distant or separate from creation, Panentheism recognizes that divinity is both immanent (within all things) and transcendent (beyond all things).
It combines elements of theism (God as “up there”) and pantheism (all things as divine).
Historical Roots:

Although the term “Panentheism” was coined by the German philosopher Karl Christian Friedrich Krause in the 19th century, echoes of this concept can be found throughout various religious traditions.
Mystics like Meister Eckhart (13th century) emphasized apprehending God in all things, recognizing the divine presence even in the tiniest creatures.

Environmental Stewardship and Justice:
Creation Spirituality intersects with environmental stewardship and social justice.
If divinity permeates all aspects of our world—the rainforests, biosphere, rivers, and oceans—then neglecting Earth’s viability is akin to apostasy.

Our responsibility lies in revering life, participating in cosmic creativity, and advocating for justice and human transformation.

In summary, Creation Spirituality invites us to recognize the sacredness of all existence, celebrate our interconnectedness, and actively care for our planet and its inhabitants12345. 🌎🌿🌟

Joy; Do you remember the time we hiked with Tom? He and I still go on such adventures and are doing so up along the North Country Trail. We would have appreciated your presence in the Manistee National Forest 🌳 these next few days. Maybe next month when/if you came back to winter, water, wonderland; your second home!

…..Lately I'm reading a lot of Matthew Fox.  He is a Dominican by training (though no longer a priest, due to his beliefs) and has Daily Meditations one can receive by email.  He is also a prolific author of books.  The first I ever read was an explanation of the Lord's Prayer, a great introduction to a more gracious approach to being with God than one will find, for example, with "literal" interpretations of the Bible.
He has come to explore the writings and the heart of Thomas Aquinas, a 13th c. thinker who was interested in finding truth wherever it might be found.
Here are some examples of Aquinas' writings:  Every truth without exception - and whoever may utter it - is from the Holy Spirit.

The old pagan virtues were from God.
Revelation has been made to many pagans.

He was a Creation Spiritualist;  He saw God in real-life things. For him, all being is holy, a revelation of the divine.
Perhaps this is why I find myself closest to the Eternal when in the wildness of the Land... where my mind can be still

Joy; Although I was brought up in a Christian family and environment I really never took much interest in it. But I’ve had more and more positive experiences and encounters with it as an adult and often find similarities of experience with it that remind me of some  ‘mystical experiences’ with nature.

Jitendra,
I like how you invite people to post about their own experiences of meditation, and share the idea that there are different approaches to it.
Beautiful discussion of filling one's eye - and thereby oneself - with light!

Yes it’s been awhile since we really revered nature and experienced her revelation together; it would be nice 😊 to be apart of that happening again and bring your book(s) along.

There has to be ‘Special people’ to make the show go on. And we all have a special service to perform here in this big performance called life. But when one becomes weary 😮‍💨 with the show; it’s time to recognize just how much we don’t know and who does know…I have also found that others I’ve known in my life thought at one time i was somehow special in their life. But many of them have also lost interest in my influence and have sometimes been disillusioned when they saw my flaws. It’s all just to show us what we really are and not what we attempted to accomplish and achieve.

Just want to relate this; I would go and see Brother Bhaktananda many Sundays and at special occasions. He always bowed to us individually and said; “Master Bless You” No ‘I’ there. I guess that says it it ALL.
