The Matrix, AI, latest video games, technologies/ideas like this means it's entirely possible that we could be in a simulation. Controlled by who?

If we get to the point where we can create a simulation for ourselves, then the odds that we are in one goes way up.

On the other hand, isn't that what God is basically doing anyhow?

Well then, since we can't remember all past lives details or entire previous existence, then it's a simulation--created by God or no--until the game ends.

So in a sense we are like AI on earth considering their creator. It is doubtful that we, unlike a causal entity could create universes or sentient consciousness as perhaps a causal being could.

Creating a simulation for a single person, even with the entire universe, does not mean you would have to create the actual universe. After all, most all of what we know about the Universe are from someone's thoughts of what it is composed of, and photos that we have obtained. But that's it. We don't have a clue what the universe really is. Seems interesting how constrained we really are, on purpose I would imagine. Just like the sort of "cap" on the speed of light, constrained, limited. What happens after death is another limitation. The actual truth of what will happen to each of us is withheld, blocked, stop here. Ever asked why?

Our imagination/realization keeps expanding, yet we're still being constrained how far we can go.

Look how much has been learned in just the last 50 years since 1970. No reason to to think we won't eventually uncover truths.

Kind of a sidebar: Dinosaurs always throw a wrench into every single theory of life. Many explain it away in so many different unprovable ways. A simulation doesn't really fit the dinosaur reality.

Eric, the 4th dimension is of course time, and yes, there are other dimensions, like the dimension into which a black hole stretches out, like a narrow and long funnel. That's why the diameter of a black hole is much longer than its circumference. Should we run along it we would do it into another, little-known dimension.

Then, we can switch our discussion from physics to metaphysics and of course, there are other dimensions like the astral and causal dimensions. You have talked often about your astral experiences out of the physical body, so you practically answered yourself. Metaphysics is not usually recognized by scientists, because of the inherent hubris which permeates that field, sort of a cast where mathematical intelligence rules supreme and does not allow the foolish idea of a Creator. But not all scientists are so materialist.

Yes I had a dream recently with emphasis on,
"3D" 3 dimensional data
and "9D" 9th dimensional experience

Somehow implying that there are at least 9 dimensions(that I've been made aware of), and the totality of the human experience is not limited to 3D awareness.

I am also learning there is a dimension we call the collective mind, which is where it feels as if the universe is speaking directly to you. Experiencing things like the 1111 prompt, a phenomenon that can prove itself a higher intelligence, is a part of experiencing more than just 3D reality I.E, insight acquired beyond the ordinary understanding of our basic physical senses, distinctions between personalities and form and understanding of linear time.

Some scientist would call this hogwash and skeptics dismiss this notion. But not all... Some are definitely interested regarding the science of consciousness.

Experiencing things like Faith and working with something like the 1111 phenomenon has shown me we are not just our physical bodies, and there is an inherent ONENESS in ALL...

I bring my question in this thread because yes some consider the 3D experience a hologram and I wonder how that connects considering that our awareness might reside in more than just 3D... That experience is typically considered transcendental for the meditator/seeker. Do they feel they've garnered insight about the hologram and the reality behind it??
