I was serious. Having a guru often gives life a fantasy or dream like character. Because when you really need help they can change reality into another form then what it should appear to be with the senses. I have had this happen enough times to be convinced. But as you know it is only a testimonial. Do your sadhana though and if it hasn't already happened ... Someday when you really need help your faith will increase exponentially because he will be there.
Nothing will alter that faith because it is now part of your experience and life itself changes after such experiences.
Reality begins to look much different... not because of what someone has said but because you have experienced reality much different than most people around you. Now you begin to understand why it is o.k. to be alone and to keep practicing your meditation because you start to realize most people are living in a dream and slowly you are waking from that dream. Slow by slow you will be able to say: l Am Awake!
If I said to you that I went to the mountain and something happened there that changed my life, and that's all I said, you'd be curious as well. Well, maybe you wouldn't. In a roundabout I think you did answer, but I'm as thick as they come, my intuition level is right around 0, so I'll just leave it at that and my imagination.
Here's a start:

We often forget about the help that has been there and is always there and start worrying.
