See the bottom of page one. Yogananda still rests at Forest Lawn. Where i received a  'miraculous' healing from the Master.

May I ask, what miraculous healing did you receive?

 Cheesy

I wonder: Do the people with all the answers really know?
Or perhaps those with the best questions have more wisdom.

That's OK, you don't have to say what happened there, I was being serious, maybe you weren't, I honestly can't tell.

I was serious. Having a guru often gives life a fantasy or dream like character. Because when you really need help they can change reality into another form then what it should appear to be with the senses. I have had this happen enough times to be convinced.  But as you know it is only a testimonial. Do your sadhana though and if it hasn't already happened ... Someday when you really need help your faith will increase exponentially because he will be there.

Nothing will alter that faith because it is now part of your experience and life itself changes after such experiences.
Reality begins to look much different... not because of what someone has said but because you have experienced reality much different than most people around you. Now you begin to understand why it is o.k. to be alone and to keep practicing your meditation because you start to realize most people are living in a dream and slowly you are waking from that dream. Slow by slow you will be able to say: l Am Awake!

If I said to you that I went to the mountain and something happened there that changed my life, and that's all I said, you'd be curious as well. Well, maybe you wouldn't. In a roundabout I think you did answer, but I'm as thick as they come, my intuition level is right around 0, so I'll just leave it at that and my imagination.

God, guru, and self are one. I read a story about Ramana Maharshi. A man came to him who was a cripple of some kind, handicapped. He had been told by an astrologer that he would meet a great Mahatma that would cure him. He came to Ramana and sat before him. Ramana just sat in silence. Suddenly the man got up of his own volition and bowing before Ramana, left the room. Ramana later recounted the incident saying, "He and everyone else were suprised, and I was surprised as well because I did not consciously do anything for him." Every great sage I have ever been blessed to read about has always said that it is God doing the healings. There is no personality in it. It is not this person or that curing anybody. It the words of Neem Karoli Baba, "It is all God".

Here's a start: http://musicmeditate.smfforfree.com/index.php/topic,514.0.html

Soon I will include another one! Someone once said that 'life is a miracle' for those who believe and do their spiritual practice it could not be more true! Thanks for reminding me of some of my spiritual blessings Spirit Image.  Undecided We often forget about the help that has been there and is always there and start worrying.

Thank you for the link.

Yes worry and restless thoughts are definitely distracting, I give them to God and it's funny, they go away, but like a boomerang later they come back, kinda watered down a little, but slowly over time it gets better.
