i wonder if some of you have noticed: You can read the SRF lessons and say 'yea i did that' But it is like the more in tune you are the more you get out of them. It is like you have to strive to be in tune and ask for that attunement. i remember Brother Bhaktananda used to tell me: 'To stay in tune with the Guru read the lessons regularly' i find myself reading thru one and then going back and underlining lines and contemplating on them. There is too much there to really let it sink in on one reading.

Steve, you are right. Paramahansa Yogananda has given us so so much in his writings. There is so much depth to his writings. A friend once described the learning process as a spiriling up. Learning one life lesson then moving on and that life lesson returns again in the future to teach something new.
