Sometimes we find our friends and loved ones going different directions then us. We may experience a hunch, a gestalt, an intuition, a flash that we cannot go with them on their path. We feel a separation of sorts. We have this knowing that we must go our separate ways for a time and perhaps even for life. Yet we have faith that the path we choose will lead us to knew people and places. Partings of this nature are sad because we have spent so many wonderful times with such loved ones. Yet we may come to the realization that it is not even us who really has made such decisions rather the people who have come into our lives; friends and loved ones who have changed the course of thier direction and thus their destiny. This has also affected our relationship with them.
Part of us holds on to the past we shared with them but their is also part of us that recognizes we must release our past and move forward.
