Sri (Devanagari: श्री, IAST; Śrī) is a Sanskrit  word often used as a title of veneration.
Sri has the original meaning of radiance, or diffusing light.
Through association with holiness  and subsequent use as part of a name, it is akin to English Saint.
Sri is frequently used as an epithet of some Hindu gods. When used as a title for gods, Śrī is sometimes translated into English as Lord.

hi Steve,

So very sorry for my delayed reply.

Very interesting your explanation of SRI , I thank you.
I have noticed other Hindu or Sanskrit words used on the forum, it is nice to know the meanings for these words.

love and light, always
