To me, it's clear that Elon Musk posted it as a parody, it couldn't have been otherwise and the the posting did not need a superfluous comment.

A candidate for the presidency of the USA stating that she doesn’t “know the first thing about running the country” can not be but a parody.

Perhaps Elon Musk should apologize for having overestimated the readers believing everyone would have readily recognized the parody ...
