Steve, many presidents and statesmen have been morally very reprehensible and even profligate.

The greatest lf all, John Kennedy, routinely betrayed his wife Jacqueline when out by himself, asking the NSA guys to bring him whores.

Bill Clinton was not a champion of conjugal loyalty.

The Italian former premier, Mr Berlusconi, hired escorts regularly for his entertainment.

Yet all the above have exhibited some abilities in statesmanship. To me, it's a mystery, even though I have some hypotheses
