This man is so full of hot air it is surprising he can even still stand on the earth. He was also going to stop the Afghanistan War but he was a failure in doing it.

In his Truth Social post, Trump said that as president he "will bring peace to the world and end the war that has cost so many lives."

Trump often has a poor memory and a tenuous grasp on history, as these examples yet again show. There were jihadi-inspired terrorist attacks in the United States during his presidency, as he himself noted at the time. It’s also false to claim that he’s the first president since 1948 not to have had any wars on his watch. Jimmy Carter earns that honor.

In shift, Trump downgrades soaring rhetoric on campaign promises.


President-elect Trump on the campaign trail made grandiose promises to voters to bring down costs quickly, to end the war in Ukraine before he even took office and to use tariffs to bolster the U.S. economy and manufacturing.

Since winning November’s election, Trump has indicated delivering on those promises may not be as simple as advertised.

Trump in a recent “Meet the Press” interview said he could not guarantee tariffs would not lead to higher consumer prices.

He acknowledged in a Time magazine interview for his Person of the Year honor that it’s difficult to bring down the cost of groceries once they’ve gone up.

And in his first post-election press conference from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Fla., Trump suggested ending the war in Ukraine would be more difficult than easing tensions in the Middle East.

Obama was so bipartisan, so innovative, so lofty, so enlightened... In his book. That was his personal universe. The real universe turned out to be different.

This is your universe. Your state of consciousness. There are many good and bad attributes on both sides of the political spectrum. I seek to see beyond such ideological mindsets. We have common spiritual values mccoy. Many people who may share the same political voting record are untenable as part of a friendship longevity. What does this tell me? It tells me political beliefs are a thin veneer compared to the person beneath.

In case you care to know my feelings about some of your comments regarding Biden and Obama; as I’ve said before i’m not here to defend politicians. But I will include this for contrast sake…

I sense a consciousness that has risen to the surface. That consciousness is part of a people and is embodied in their leader. It is very apparent to me that it is a very destructive state of consciousness that is now leading our people. It has no connection with spiritual values. It is a mindset of the past. The Industrial Revolution. Even that of the dark ages, where one country is set against the other and there is no semblance of understanding of the life that thrives and evolves like us behind nature. Nature is seen as something to be conquered and dominated. This does not show any regard for us being the stewards of nature. We have fallen far from the path of serving mankind and nature. This is the path we are now headed, with are compass pointing in a line that will bring nothing but doom to our nation and shows no ethical direction ahead. The United States presently has no spiritual compass or leadership qualities for Mother Earth or the people that inhabit it. We are a lost people being led like sheep to the slaughter.

As last week got underway, Donald Trump described an alternate reality he clearly preferred to the one we live in. In a post published to his social media platform, the Republican president described a political landscape in which he’s “getting the best Polling Numbers” of his career, thanks to public satisfaction with the economy and “rapidly falling Energy prices.”

The claims appeared delusional, especially given public dissatisfaction with the state of the economy and recent increases in energy costs, but in the days that followed, Trump did what he always does: repeat nonsensical claims in the hope that public perception can be bullied into submission.

“I have the best poll numbers I’ve ever had,” he told reporters last week. “I have the best numbers for any president in many years — any president,” he added two days later.
