We should remember that Americans are the prime cause of deforestation in the Amazon. Why? Because most Americans demand their hamburgers, which is the main reason the deforestation is happening in Brazil; to make room for more cattle to grow and murder for the gluttony of American Hamburger 🍔 culture.

Lula has promised to end illegal deforestation in Brazil by 2030.

A few days ago I talked with a horse owner, who told me how much forage is needed to feed one horse. About 1.24 acres in a temperate Mediterranean climate like ours.
Feeding a cow requires much more, perhaps double that amount. Presently there is vast demand for grass-fed meats, so I'm afraid the fate of the Amazon won't be so good.
