IAM and Energization; also Hatha Yoga.

It fascinates me just how helpful these ‘Physical regimens’ have been for me. I practiced very rigorous hatha yoga postures at a young age. And later, still practice some of the asanas of hatha yoga; especially at the beach in the summer or an occasional hatha yoga class-I used to teach them myself.

But now it simply amazes me the genius that went into creating the IAM physical part of the meditation technique and the ability of the energization exercises to strengthen the will and send energy to all the body parts. Both of these exercises are included in Amma’s teachings and Yogananda’s self realization fellowship lessons.

I was feeling a strain in my shoulder blade muscles from sleeping in the wrong position and did some of the limbering stretches that Amma provides in IAM and they helped loosen me up
and feel fine again!
