I hate to say I don't feel particularly elevated vibrations, they must be there but are probably overwhelmed by more materialistic vibrations.

Not really Mccoy, actually my roommate has marveled at how the gurus have worked overtime in my life to keep me out of trouble.

Merry Xmas to all friends in this forum, and many more Xmases to come in vibrant physical, mental and spiritual health.

Steve, yes, I felt the help of the gurus as well.

In my answer above I was complaining about the materialistic vibrations in the environment overwhelming the subtler spiritual vibrations in this period.

I don't know if your answer was fruit of some misunderstanding or some leap of thoughts, I'll strive to be more clear when I write; sometimes I'm in a hurry, worldly duties are always pressing, it seems like there is no end to them until death, which I plan to forestall for the next decades anyway!

Merry Christmas!!!!

and Happy New Year! = )

2024 is around the corner, I promise it will be quite a year for us all.

Let's remember the kind hearted gestures we seem to bring to life around this time of year, carry that into our new year!

The magic is alive, and we step into our creator roles!

Love you guys.

I see it more as ‘leap of thought’, glad you recognized that possibility. I was chatting with Art last night and told him that I often do that as a result of a sometimes over active Uranus in my natal chart. Kind of, jump tracks on people, something they say triggers something on a different topic that may or may not have a connection. Although, I may be misunderstood or the train of thought may be disrupted, to get a different meaning then untended. In that spirit I want to say this to Eric’s post above:

I think it a pity that some religions make it difficult to appreciate the spiritual vibrations around us,  because they for instance are still waiting for their messiah to come.

Steve,

There are many things we can take pity for and feel just awful about.

Or, we can recognize it all as a part of the journey and times. There is a collective consciousness, and likewise, there is a unique journey towards God.

I'd rather focus on the joy than the misery. Adversity is an opportunity towards Understanding.

Whatever your choice, in the grand scheme of things, there is no wrong path. To each their own friend.

I hope you feel merriment and joy as you deserve.

Loving regards!!  Smiley Smiley Smiley

All the beauty that there is in life is after all what we call love. From it all the virtues spring. The whole beauty of life is in it, and it is as the English song says, 'The light of a whole life dies, when love is done'. Life's light is love; and when the heart is empty of love, a man is living and yet not living; from a spiritual point of view he is dead. When the heart is asleep, he is as though dead in this life, for one can only love through the heart. But love does not mean give and take. That is only a trade; it's selfishness. To give sixpence and receive a shilling is not love. Love is when one loves for the sake of love, when one cannot help but love, cannot do anything but love. Then one is not forced to love; there is no virtue in that. One does not love because another does. It is simply there. It cannot be helped. It is the only thing that makes a person alive. If a person loves one and hates another, what can he know of love? Can you love one person fully if at the same time you cannot bestow a kind glance on some other person? Can you say you love one person fully when you cannot bear him to be loved by someone else as well? Can you hate a person when love is sprinkled like water in your heart? Love is like the water of the Ganges. It is itself a purification. As the Bible says, 'God is love'. When love is awakened in the heart, God is awakened there. When a man has journeyed, he reaches the goal as soon as his heart has reached love.

The Sufi says, 'The Kaba, the divine place, paradise, is the heart of the human being'. That is why he has respect for every heart. Every heart is his Kaba, his shrine. The human heart is the place toward which he bows, for in this heart is God.
