Thanks for taking the time to put the wisdom of Sri Yukteswar to us in a more completed manner about astrology. I wore a bangle like the one Sri Yukteswar describes and have had an unusual experience with it.

Some of the most important message I’ve gotten from Astrology is in the way he has described it in the ‘Holy Science’ and the ‘Autobiography’. He is truly a great astrologer and his wisdom about the yugas will most likely soon turn all scholars upside down in their linear approach to history. Sri Yukteswar uses a form of Astrology that measures birth from the moment of conception. There are many approaches to astrology but this intuitive approach may be the most ideal. Other astrology approaches have validity of their own but admittedly most likely have no comparison to his, which by the way he was one of the magi (astrologers) that visited the child Jesus as one of the wisemen.

“Man is a soul, and has a body. When he properly places his sense of identity, he leaves behind all compulsive patterns. So long as he remains confused in his ordinary state of spiritual amnesia, he will know the subtle fetters of environmental law.”

I would say that all psychologists, Astrologers and counselors do their best to remember this advice of the Master;

“It is only when a traveler has reached his goal that he is justified in discarding his maps. During the journey, he takes advantage of any convenient short cut.”

I found the last paragraph you quoted above to be the most important information you provided above… thanks….
