As far as I understood, in America, the situation was different in different states. California and New York were very similar to Italy and Europe, as well as Canada.

In those states, the evident strategy was to make the unvaccinated feel (and actually be) like Pariahs.

I don't think there was any conspiracy, just a dystopic situation most people would never have imagined. And this with a relatively innocuous, although very infectious, virus.

What would have happened with a much more aggressive one, like the Spanish flu, or a little like Ebola? Society would have helplessly crumbled down.

This is a lesson for the future, if something similar happens, with worse viruses.
