Having challenges with mice 🐁 where I’ve been staying in recently. But I don’t blame it on them. You provided a lot of info here Eric…. Thanks. I found these helpful…..
“A Mouse’s spiritual meaning is related to adaptability and flexibility. Are you unable to let go when things don’t go your way? Does every crisis throw you off your game? Mouse may be here to teach you to be more agile and to adapt to your surroundings, rather than expecting the outside world to adapt to you.”
This has been helpful also…
Steve, in response to your reply, you've prompted me to share wisdom from the Law of One material:
https://www.llresearch.org/"When you look at yourself through the mirror of other entities, such as those about whom we spoke, those that give you the catalyst, the interference and resistance, you are a looking at a very skewed and distorted mirror of yourself and yet it is a mirror of those parts of yourself with which you have had arguments in the past, perhaps not even in this lifetime but in between incarnations or in other incarnations. Perhaps you do not have adhering catalyst with this entity. Perhaps you put that entity in your life simply to learn to love without expectation of return. However, as you forgive that entity for its skewed picture of you, you begin to see that you have only to forgive yourself in order to create room within that portion of yourself that we would call the heart."
I think life is made up of many parasites and benefactors. Those are roles we play and I’ve played both on the stage of this life. Neither one really brings complete satisfaction. As a parasite ( like perhaps the mouse in some ways ) we take advantage of outside influences for survival. And as a benefactor we are constantly on the watch for others taking advantage of us and trying to adhere to the rules of the game and hold on to what we have. These roles are two sides to the same coin and are somewhat dependent on one another. A benefactor finds purpose by giving of something, yet absolves himself or herself of life’s main purpose by taking on the role too frequently and remains trapped living out and being attached to that role. A parasite has the inherent challenge of wanting the flexibility of coming and going without taking on the hard choices that life thrusts upon us.Can we rise above the roles that we take on in our lives?
Perhaps 🤔 we must be free of all roles we attempt to play in this life. And take on the sadhana that appears suitable for our souls refinement and transcendence. I think I find others attached to the role they play in life so it also takes place in me. Like the mouse, we are often get trapped in the roles we play and die in those roles without ever becoming aware that we became accustomed to playing a role we took on and not being able to change roles when we are called on to do so.
