Predictions; the challenges

One of the challenges, and perhaps the most difficult 😞 one about prediction, is that most people would rather hear something pleasant then something difficult or challenging they may face in the future. I recall an astrologer/psychic once tell me that I was going to have quite a bit of money in my life because of the emphasis on three planets in my second house in my tropical chart. However I found over the years, that her assessment was inaccurate and although the possibilities were definitely there, she was not able to assess my chart properly for my spiritual needs and accomplishments in contrast to the material desires and manifestations of my chart and life.

So quite a few people, if not most, would rather be told about the good and cheerful things they will have coming in their life rather then the learning experiences and challenges that may actually benefit them more in the totality of their life mission in/on this material world.

The more the soul has evolved, the more it is willing to encounter challenging karma that must be overcome to bring enlightenment. Due to the grace of a Master or Guru and a technique like Kriya yoga, it is possible to defuse much karma in a shorter period. While remembering that pleasurable predictions and experiences may in fact only prolong many lives ahead on this and other planets that will be filled with much more pain/pleasure syndromes.
