Thanks for the cautionary note Brother Eric. And you may be right. You addressed the person as Clifford . Michelle says that was her father who died 10 years ago. In someways I have isolated myself more and more on the internet to this site. For a couple of reasons which I may later need to change. But for one, I have never made lasting friendships at other sites mostly because people have not found this site of interest and would rather me participate at another spiritual site. I see this as spiritual egoism when there is no reciprocity involved. Or many people I invite here do not show sufficient interest to stay here. If that is the case I have to ask myself; how could I have lasting friendships with people who have no common interests? Others are welcome to comment but I have found that enduring relationships for me involve some spiritual, psychic, artistic, meditative yogic and dietary similarities. Without some common interests life goes on with human beings but its challenging to participate for instance in internet games, fishing, hunting, bowling casino life and sites that talk about everything but what most of us engage in here as hobbies and goals. These topics of our interest already take up a whole day and I may even find that in many other ways, the worlds influence is not fulfilling to my life aspirations.
