My spiritual path is one of love and light. Sometimes a spiritual journey is like a lonely walk thru a dark forest, filled with unanswered questions, yet at the same time, in this lonely solitude, there is a feeling of connection to all that is, a connection to God.  A time for silence, for contemplation, observing the beauty all around us and feeling Gods love. i spent many years alone. Now i feel that much of this time was training by an unseen force so that i would feel comfortable about myself in all circumstances including being alone for long periods. It has given me the ability to sit for long hours in contemplation and meditation. At some point though; we meet others with similar goals and aspirations. When this happens we rejoice in the reunion and help each other thru prayer and various means of support. i do hope you have found that juncture in your path that has brought you here at soulsearching.

One would wonder about one such as yourself. Why Desiree? Is that the name you were given at birth or something that you use for the internet? If so why? How did you find out about us? Do you live in the states? Do you have a spiritual path you follow?

So many questions you ask, there is a 2 question limit, just thought I should mention this to you for future reference. I will start at the beginning. " Why Desiree ? " Do you not like my name ?

I have a French background. My mother and Lancelot were lovers in a past life. Yes, cast all illusion aside, Guinevere was not his only love. Desiree was his name for my mother, and now it is my name. The French have a passion for life, romance and wine, as do I ! Not always in that order
