Control; Should We Help?

I think what we are facing in relationships both on a personal level and on an international level today is whether we should let others control our efforts and those we know to have freedom of choice. It appears to me that what you see in many relationships are people forcing their will on the will of others. When we see this happen and the subjugated asks for help what karmic responsibility do we have to help? And if we do not help do we gain liabilities as a people for remaining unresponsive to the needs of others when we could help them? Should one group of people or one person be given the right to dominate another person or group of people against their will??
Haven't we begun to get beyond this kind of suppression as a human race?

When I was jogging 🏃‍♂️ today I was in the woods and looked at so many gorgeous large trees who did not have the same freedom as i to run freely through the forest. And some large rocks in the stream were even further back in evolution. They couldn’t reach for the heavens like their brothers and sisters the trees. But with all
the freedom I have, I recognized that I too had my limitations as I saw all the no trespassing signs further out in the woods. And suddenly I recognized I also was very much circumvented by my small life here on this little mud ball planet somewhere far off in space. And it also came to my attention that my life has trappings in a little time period in the 20 th and twenty first centuries. Then again I recognize how we all are reaching, reaching beyond and growing, growing towards a higher consciousness. We are at the same time working and serving others in this great expansion of being.
