OK well then I'll give my views.
Nugent has been accused of draft dodging, crapping his pants during intake. He's profusely denied this. Also has been involved in underage females. (In the 60's/70's rock world, this wouldn't be a first). (Also a certain guru has had similar accusations). At least he was never a druggie, like most bands. Or so he claims but I tend to believe him on this point.
But anyway, if society will always accuse of what we did in the past with no hope of change, then he will forever be screwed as far as that goes. Although Priscilla Presley was only 14 but that's OK. (Jeez society is f'd up. Must have to do with how much people like you and are willing to forget what you've done.)
He does have a political agenda, as many do. He's a hunter, and believes it is a God given right, and using a bow and arrow is spiritual. Have to admit if you're going to eat meat hunt it yourself, clean it yourself and try to waste nothing. Likely better than anything purchased.
Always liked his byrdland tone and style. But not so much his composing ability/music. But that's just me. Saw him 3 times and 3rd time when he did his solos it was so loud that people were looking at each like this is wrong.
He's got a mouth, and just like others that have a similar mouth, does not get high marks.
