Naturopathy is defined as,
Quote
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct system of primary health care that emphasizes prevention and the self-healing process through the use of natural therapies. While the roots of naturopathic medicine date back to the 1890s, naturopathic medicine has witnessed a rapid increase in public interest in recent years as a result of the growing consumer movement to solve the health care puzzle using prevention, wellness, and respect for nature's inherent healing ability.

Naturopathic doctors (NDs) are primary care physicians who blend centuries-old knowledge and a philosophy that nature is the most effective healer with current research on health and human systems. They have attended a four-year naturopathic medical school, are clinically trained, and work in all aspects of family health — from pediatric to geriatric care. Most NDs provide primary care through office-based private practice, but a growing number are in clinic settings.

Allopathy is defined as,

Despite extensive schooling, naturopathic doctors are not considered MD's in the West- where a majority of those living in this nation(USofA) rely heavily on synthetic medicines to suppress symptoms or mimic bodily autonomy while risking serious side effects. In many cases, through the unholy allegiance of doctors and insurance companies, many doctors are required to prescribe blanket medicine to patients per the recommendation of insurance companies if the medicine has something like a 90% effective rate. Many Doctors are not pleased with the lack of freedom they have when treating patients when having to go through insurance. My health journey has taught me that I prefer to look for the root cause of the ailment, to work on preventative measures rather than reactionary- and that many synthetic medicines have produced ill-desired effects which have ranged from convulsions, sweats, hallucinations, irregular blood pressure, and irregular heart problems... Some medicines have long term side-effects not only because of the actual medicine but the fillers that are used to make them.

It seems the way we view medicine in the west is void of any spiritual application.
