Swami Kriyananda: The Progression Through the Yugas

About half way in the video Swami Kriyananda warns us of a turbulent time other masters/monks have also referred to taking place sometime between 2025-2026. It'll make COVID look like a joke. I have an opinion on what that might be. But for this thread, I am sharing this because of the importance of community...  Around the time he talks about the culling of the population he mentions the importance of owning land and/or having a *small* community. I found some of my shorthand notes from one of Swami V's lectures... I didn't realize he mentioned the end of a Yuga by 2025 and a divine being descending... He said that the coming of the divine being would arrive when there is much chaos. That's an interesting thing to say...?

if you're not feeling love for your near and dear ones, a caring attitude more than you care for yourself... if you aren't feeling devotion to truth is way to devotion of understanding.
poor relationship with the breath and the lungs, and the oxygenation of the blood. physical, subtle and super subtle level- do everything to correct the relationship with the air element- the opening of the heart, oxygenation. embrace controlled breathing. start all over. experience yourself in noble company who care for you.

Eric you have quoted Swami V’s notes with Swami Kriyananda. What correlation are you seeing? This is the correlation I see….“Sustainable elements of nature” being one.) ‘take note of the sustainable elements of nature.’

 Perhaps 🤔 Swami V is speaking of a different “ending of  a Yuga”? In 2025?

The video was appreciated. I often had difficulty taking notes when Amma spoke. Because she was translated by a monk with a heavy accent. Her stories and comments were often quite involved and sometimes I could only take away small parts of her talks. To commit it to memory was quite a challenging task for me.

I am finding a correlation between the ill-fated prediction directly stated by Swami Vidyadhishananda (ETA 2025-2026) and listening to Swami Kriyananda talk about ideas that seem similar.

If I remember, you also said Amma the hugging Saint predicted something major around this time? Is that correct?

I am discussing solar flares on another forum and talking about major earth changes during this time. I am trying to see how, if at all, it might be connected.

I enjoyed the video … thanks Eric. Yes Amma mentioned two big happenings that would happen on the earth plain between 2020 and 2024. I believe the first one was Covid. And there is another one to come between now and the end of 2024. She made this prediction back in 2003 but I heard myself when one of her main  monks …. The one that translates for her … stood up after she was done talking about the toll Mother Earth was taking and as she has many times; she said that Mother’s Earth is a living being and will take only so much abuse and then she will respond against the abuse. The Swami then responded with specific years it would happen; through 2020-2024.

Maybe the Scientists ( Patrict and Mccoy ) and anyone else who understands the dynamics of the Sun on Mother Earth, have a more intelligent response to this video.

LOL Steve, thanks for the 'scientists', I must take the time to watch the video, the premise sounds pretty in line with some other catastrophic narratives. When discussing about such things the uncertainties involved in the hypothesis should be clearly exposed, even as the mechanistic principles behind the hypothesis itself.
At the end, I will accept a degree of probability, if the hypothesis is not a crazy one (there are many). I will not accept a 100% certainty, that's impossible in just about any forecast.
The proponent may be so sure as to move to a isolated ranch, but this does not make the forecast sure. The proponent is so convinced that he cannot live without taking action. that's all right. There were so many proponents of the 2000 bug, including Kryiananda. We've all witnessed that such narrative has been a failure.
Daya Mata was a clairvoyant, and she clearly explained that there would not have been any millennium bug. But she went on: if you are restless without doing anything, just take some of the measures which will make you stay in peace. This is the kind of pragmatism I appreciate in Yogananda and his disciples.
