The Come and Go of Relationships

It is often an interesting phenomena the way people come and go in our life. Sometimes it is better to not get too attached to this flow of energy coming and going in our lives, but rather just watch the energies leave and return in our lives and seeing how they reflect various states of consciousness emerging in ourselves. Often when some energies leave us it is for a purpose of letting others come in.

I have thought this over more as time has passed. And I do find that some relationships have endured the test of time and there are others that have been dispelled. This morning I remember that all the faces we have seen and been with this life we have seen and been with in past lives. With that thought in mind wouldn’t it be better to take up friends and acquaintances from the past that have some of our most fond memories and interests rather than those that still show no interest in for instance meditation and spiritual practices? So I have become more grateful for even some people taken out of my life as others have entered in.
