Nature speaks thru God’s living beings all around us! Warning us. Surprising us. Laughing with us. Playing with us. Inspiring us and loving us.

I agree completely. I went for an exercise and a walk in nature. I had a real moment of commune that I got to reflect on later tonight. I hope you find an inspiring message for your self as I share. I would also like to add that I dreamt of playing a rhythm over and over on a snare drum last night. I add that as it relates to the Spirit Message imparted later in the day.
Kind regards~

I saw a bright red cardinal come out from the tree's and a larger mockingbird right behind it- they were both chasing a vibrant green cicada. I'm not sure but my presence might have ended the hunt after the initial attempt... They weren't competing with one another, just happened to be hunting the same meal.

As I continued down along the bayou I realized I was 5 feet from two very large hawks. One swooped across me, moving through the low brush without making a sound. I realized I too was moving without making a sound. It rained briefly the day before and the ground was soft enough that my footsteps were silent. I quietly walked between both hawks and felt a rush of power. Like a Spirit communicating through all of us.

What I began to feel was an opening of my mind, my pupils felt slightly widened and it was as if I was residing outside my body- identifying with the body and its immediate surroundings. I wasn't sure what I was looking at in this moment, just that I felt more connected with open space than normal.

This walk ended with a black and white woodpecker... Which was a nod to the drumming in my dream.

The cicada has a lot to do with natural cycles and rhythms... The mockingbird is able to mimic other birds and animals, they are fiercely protective and have a beautiful song of their own. Cardinals mate for life, their male counterparts are vibrant and they have a lot of energy. Hawks have keen observation and are excellent predators...  And the woodpecker again signifies rhythm...

I feel like there's an emphasis on transformation(Cicada). Seek the nourishment(The pursuit). There is a lot of energy, which means increasing physicality or simply adding movement(Cardinal). There is also a power of protection(Cicada escaped without harm), speaking ones truth but recognizing truth in others(Mockingbird) and community(Different species in each others company). Keen observation... Doubly so(Two hawks. Again community or... Family). And there are natural cycles within and without(Black and white woodpecker).

All of this is related to within and without. To be mindful of the moment, to move accordingly, to look the moment in the eyes and engage the present when the present demands it. Do not feel overburdened... And sometimes it means moving gracefully through uncomfortable energy. Just breathe and be unafraid to look at the awkward energy in the eyes. I forgot to add, it is possible to move gracefully through these energies(the silent walk and the silent hawks). Sometimes the environment allows it... But if not, breathe and smile. Breathe and smile =) This helped me a lot today.

I again saw the cicada while pursuing nobler desires. I am lead to believe this is what's most important in my day-to-day activities.

From Sigoli, where the train journey ends, [Inayat and his father] had six days journey through the forest. This was a new experience to a soul who wanted to breathe a breath of freedom from the crowd and to whom nature was not only appealing but uplifting. ... Inayat's enjoyment was boundless. For the first time in his life there came to him the realization of the saying: "The city was made by man and the country was made by God."

The solitude of the forest, the sounds of the birds that one never feels nor hears in the crowd, the trees standing in stillness for hundreds of years, a place never occupied by man, gave him a feeling of that calm and peace that every soul longs for, consciously or unconsciously. This journey was a kind of answer to the cry of his soul. He felt in the sphere a welcome and blessing given by the long standing trees, venerable in age and appearance. He saw the hand of God blessing in every bending branch. He pictured his hands in the branches that stretched upwards, hands constantly praying and asking for blessing from above.
