Discipline Inspiration or Perspiration

Often reflect in my quiet moments; how much time should we allow for inspiration? How much time for perspiration (work and service) and how much time for discipline? Some of us are limited by outside circumstances that dictate much of this. Others have more liberty to make their own choices. Yet we all are aware that the time is passing by and how are we using the moments of our lives? Are we wasting our time in trivial pursuits or are we find fulfillment and accomplishment in our endeavors? Perhaps much of it is just awareness. Awareness of how we are living our lives. Sometimes I go out very late at night and energize on the front or back porch. When I look at the awesomeness of the sky I realize how small we are and how much I have yet to know. At those moments I recognize my purpose again and go back in the house to meditate and to be more aware of my purpose here on this small planet in the universe.
