i don't think the problem is Jesus. i thnk it is Christianity which has dragged that dark period of life two thousand years ago into this era of higher understanding. We need spirituality that suits our times not two thousand years ago. Paramahansa Yogananda did the best one could to the teahings of Jesus. They have been hacked away at for over 2,000 years. It's hard to say how much is really what was originally written. Take for instance the Justinian Council and the Meeting at Constinopal to change the Bible. What happened in all the translations? What happened to the Gospel of Thomas and Mary? Not to even speak of the other books that were deleted. Than you have people who thought it meant this or that in all the translations. It is hopeless unless you have somebody from an age that reflects the higher energies we live with and in to council you.
