I have made an attempt to make a real look at myself and my life to face and separate fact from fiction. How does one get to a place where they are at this point in their journey? Sometimes people ask what is this site  for?  You could ask the question about anyone’s life and interests. I mean why is an expensive car in their driveway? Why do they live in a trailer, car or expensive home? Why do they paint? Why do they have a coin collection? And... and in the case of many people here >>> why do they meditate?

In most every case the answer boils down to circumstances, interests and finally choices. However there is a significant difference from each person in another area that often goes unnoticed. That is time. Time changes people and circumstances immensely. What I enjoyed doing and thought to be important in this life is certainly different now than as a teenager. Another key difference in people is understanding. Some people have a simple understanding of their circumstances and their life others have a much deeper understanding of why they are doing what they are doing and why they are in the circumstances they presently are in.

We already have a mission statement here at this site. It is posted under helpful announcements. The very first topic. At times, we meet people in our lives that determine our destiny. They may have similar experiences, talents and understanding. We can say that is true here at this site, and we have learned and grown through our mutual friendship that has been a result of this site. It is a consequence of these shared experiences happening to us, and those who have come here with their talent along the way, that have made this site what it is becoming.

I want to add here that at times we have also been blessed with an awakening from an event or person that has brought us out of a coma that most people seem bound by in this life we are presently living. These kind of people with their experiences come to share them here which is blessing to us all.

Many of us here have had very different encounters with people, friends and experiences within ourselves that don’t fit what most people describe as ‘ordinary’ in their lives. Some people have those experiences to some degree but then forget about them or do not give very much significance to them. Others may have other paranormal experiences and can relate to the fact that while different then their own they are similar experiences. A helpful event that happens in life is that we meet others who have similar life experiences. In this case we have taken note of those experiences and shared them together. Therefore we have found that just because others have not shared such experiences or have had few does not mean they do not exist.

It is not what is normal that makes some human beings exceptional. It is my hope that being here and learning from others we can together find in life and in ourselves that which is exceptional.

Using your view it takes a chorus of people to understand the mind of God. Unfortunately I have yet to appreciate it all. Maybe that’s part of my challenge. Some of the chorus seems like a concophony of untuned piercing sounds. I think I’ve been on the wrong 😑 end of the elephant and heard farts too long. See if I can change my view and position.

I have a strong conviction that it is part of my dharma this life, and those attracted and supportive of this site, to create and maintain this site for the benefit of those wanting to learn and practice meditation as well as having other psychic and spiritual interests. I also have begun to understand the facts and goals of previous lifetimes to this one. I am tremendously grateful for those souls who are involved and support this project which is a service of love and sharing.

In lifetimes together we often fly together in flocks sailing the winds of a new age together and migrating to higher skylines to hold us.

What will be left lasting about this site? Probably not the politics or even music. Most likely the enthusiasm for meditation, psychic awareness and lastly the uncovering of so much in life that is hidden from the public eye. These are the type of experiences that live on in a persons spiritual life and sadhana. These are life experiences that encourage us onward with enthusiasm.

I see that the message of Teacher Uteah is similar to what we are doing here, on this site. It is a reinforcement of our purpose, and could fit very well into our mission statement, so I’ve included it here. I’m not so sure about other worlds in this ‘universes of time’. Because I’ve not been there this life. However, the ones I’ve been exposed to usually appear quite evolved. Perhaps that is because they have been able to transcend some, if not most, the limitations of time in their bringing their messages to Mother Earth.

Teacher Uteah: “Today, my dear students, we shall explore our feelings at the soul level of our being and I shall lead you to discover those deep heart-felt thoughts and feelings that are present within you, but are sometimes buried behind the wounds of your temporal existence. Living on a world like Urantia, at the present time, it can be difficult to maintain a peaceful loving outlook when many are having to struggle just to survive. Many are themselves dealing with the dysfunction of relationships that are also suffering from a disconnect with their souls stemming from a similar disparity. Let me guide you back to a place where your love of life still exists and where compassion and mercy lives within you. Let us consider the common ground of all humanity and you will see that you are not so different from one another.

“Understand that you were born in a world of confusion where little information is given about the soul life of a human — it is only available to you when you look for it. It is not something that is taught to you from birth or in your education systems. You must construct this soul-life from the pieces of your experiences here that touch your soul in times when you and others have discovered a common exchange of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness (TBG). These can be rare exchanges in a human life or they can be abundant — it depends on many things and conditions and personality traits. When you begin to build a library of soul-worthy experiences like this they become the values that you reflect out into the world and in the relationships you build with others. “Recognition of these values is a very important part of soul and personality growth. Take pause in those moments when something extraordinary happens when you ‘feel something’ and share that ‘something’ with your Higher Self. Let it sink deep within you and recognize the value it has. Experiment with how you may attract more of these special moments by reflecting these values out into your world and in your relationships — the TBG of those things that have touched you deeply.

“Start collecting these gems throughout your life, my dear students, and you will have a much richer and more exciting life — even here in one of the most challenging places to live. The paradox here is that the opportunity for having these deep reaching soul defining experiences are more abundant on Urantia than on many worlds in the universes of time. Take pause to consider when you have just collected a gem and hold it up to the sun and let the light shine through it into your naked eye — see the glistening beauty in it and then hold it close and show it to others that they may also want to collect such a gem and cherish it.

For example, I who have always been receptive to the supernatural, only had a couple of experiences that went beyond the laws of physics, in my whole life.

In this reply and thread I hope to bring understanding to those who visit here. I have had many very unusual experiences that many would call miraculous. To me it has become more like an unfolding story or movie that the director may change at any time. These changes others deem miracles but I choose to see them as changes being made by God and the Masters to fit the purpose of the actors roles in the plot. And you and I are those actors playing our designated roles in the unfolding drama.

Steve, sorry for being a party-pooper and perhaps my reasoning is biased, but why so many people affirming to having seen aliens and rests of aliens, for decades, but no Alien is really showing up?

Maybe there is a reason for that, maybe it's all a hoax, I chose to apply a healthy dose of skepticism until irrefutable proof is provided.


But you cannot seriosuly say that a picture from somewhere proves anything. We can just choose or not to make that leap of faith and believe that it is a proof. We have a legitimate right to believe anything, yet to prove something is a totally different issue.

Mccoy some of my ‘experiences’  were not always seen as beneficial by some one that you and I may believe together as ‘proof’. I remember asking for a consultation with Brother Bhaktananda and when we sat down at the Hollywood Temple, I asked him about a personal experience I had been having….

I had a girl friend who regularly saw ghosts and spirits. At first I was somewhat skeptical and wondered if she might have been experiencing hallucinations, as you mentioned….

I asked the Brother about such experiences and if her common spirit friend who always seemed to be around was real. He replied slowly; “yeess” and i was rather surprised by his response which was so affirmative and then asked; “What should I do about it?” And as usual he had an answer for that as well…..

He said that ‘such spirits should be encouraged to move on since they, like us, will be leaving this material world when we pass away.’ Implying that their progress was not beneficial to stay on here.

Thanks for sharing; I do not have ‘evidence’ of seeing an alien. But I will include these two experiences of my own and let you decide for yourself. It is often difficult to understand just what one has had experienced. And that I will admit. But just because we cannot clearly understand our experiences does not mean they do not have a legitimate basis in fact.

First when I was about eleven years old I looked in the sky and saw an streak of light cross the whole width of the sky and suddenly make a right hand turn at a 90 degree angle 📐 and go a different direction without any slowing down at the turn. That is an experience that always left me wondering in amazement.

Later in my life as a grown man, I was standing outdoors with a friend it was about midnight. I a was looking at the majesty of the stars. When suddenly a light in the sky that first appeared to be a large close planet became larger and larger. It appeared to be about one third the size of a full moon.

I asked my friend if she also saw it and she replied in the affirmative, but did not appear to be quite as interested in it as I was. I was speculating what it could be. And remarked that it may have been a meteor approaching our sector of the sky. But as we watched the light approach it slowly began to dim and out of the dimming light appeared a craft of some sort…. Metallic in color and emerging slowly from the dimming light.

The craft was lit up by the dimming light. Until the light completely disappeared. While I did not see an alien, i did see something very unusual and not easily explainable in physical terms. Since then I have met a multitude of people who have experienced such phenomena. These people have been close friends and at other times acquaintances. It is my opinion that because of such reports and multiple reports leaking out of government agencies that we are not alone, here on this planet.

It may interest you that Paramahansa Yogananda had a devotee that wanted to know about such stories and reports. The Guru took him out to the desert once and the sky was littered with such spacecraft. He appeared to satisfy the disciples insatiable curiosity.

And below I have included a quote by William Shakespeare-who Brother Bhaktananda said Paramahansa Yogananda had told him he (the Guru) was (Willam Shakespeare in a previous life).

I see this as an assumption Mccoy. Who’s to say aliens are a physical reality? This is an assumption, especially since it is quite possible, if not likely, that they are coming from an advance civilizations that are plausible to have already explored different realities than just our physical dimension.

It is even possible they are coming thru a portal from the astral realm. The possibilities are endless since we ourselves are products of our own thoughts and assumptions about reality, our thoughts on such matters are at best limited and at worst delusional.

We seem to be for the most part physical beings. Although I will say that view of myself has changed dramatically since I was a teen ager. Sometimes I’ve had glimpses into other realms. And experiences that surely cannot be classified physical in nature.

In fact sometimes my day to day activities seem surreal in nature. As if I have one foot partially in another realm and somehow I just got lost in this dimension, and am attempting to find my way back to somewhere I left. I want to allow my self such thoughts, since I’ve come to realize visualizing thoughts often lead to manifesting such ideas.

What you say  is an interesting possibility, but that would be part of the 'ghosts' or 'spirits' category. They would be alien ghosts but ghosts anyway. If they have a material body which can be dematerialized to travel thru other dimensions, this would imply that the bodies, remnants and so on shown in various pictures needed to be materialized again.
