Hi Steve. I'm not practicing Kriya in a traditional sense, but I've been guided in my recent past to new friends who would introduce me to saints that do. I've been told by this friend that he considers me somewhat of a 'household yogi' and through him I was able to meet Gurunath- and through others, unrelated- I was able to meet Swami Vidyadhishananda.

I notice that I have meditation and yoga practices even in my dreams. I have felt Babaji before and a surreal play on time. Our group meditation on Sunday, two of the women felt Babaji's presence. Kim, the woman who was able to channel your name from our very first group meditation- is the one who saw Babaji alongside other spiritual teachers in her vision.

I haven't considered his promise in earnest, but I don't doubt it.

The one who initiated me in my dreams takes many names, and may work alongside Babaji. In Hinduism the peacock angel has been called Saraswati. In Sufism, Al Khadir.

DAYA MATAJI   When we went to India this last time,  two of the devotees expressed a wish to visit Babaji’s cave… In the  interior of this cave we deeply prayed to Babaji for all of you, and for  all of those faithful devotees who are to come, that by the faithful,  devoted practice of kriya yoga, they might achieve that state of bliss,  that state of oneness with God which is the ultimate goal of all  mankind.  And without which goal, without the achievement of which goal  our souls will never be content.

That night I couldn’t sleep. Suddenly  that whole room lighted up with a golden light. And then I remember it  became a very blue light.  And then again the presence of Babaji.  And  this time he said a message that was so sweet., and he is all LOVE, his  whole nature is PREM–“My child, you must know this.  It is not  necessary for devotees to come to this spot in order to find me.   Whoever goes within with deep devotion, calling and believing in me, you  will find my response.”  That is his message.



And how true that is, if you only  believe, if with a little deep devotion you silently call on Babaji, you  will feel that response.

God has always provided and grace is always part of our provisions as stated by Babaji; In his rather humble distance from worldly matters - and yet still changing the world dramatically -  I find an inspiration deeper than the distribution of wealth or social interaction. My views have included a distant look at earth from the universe and I see my little life twinkling yet obscure to the vast universe. I would say I have quite a Herculean task to separate myself from our country, our small little missions and the noise of our Mother Earth humming along in a challenging interaction with its inhabitants, including this strange creature Im exploring called me.

Yet Babaji - his existence - provides a look at spirituality which changes the world and its inhabitants through his own state of consciousness rather than an external interaction and interference from his being involved in karmic matters that we ourselves have instigated. Instead - through kriya - he has given us the means to transcend and transform ourselves and our environment.

Im quite sure we will come back to this talk about social justice and politics…but I find the statement of a friend that he is  ‘taking a distant view’ as something I’ve been trying to attempt seeing as to our guru Babaji appears to be doing more for humanity with his silent blessings and creating a technique for the transformation of consciousness, that is most likely tremendously more affective then pushing my views on anyone…
