Is the space between spaces, sentient?
Thanks for bumping this thread, Steve. Even in the breathless state, the breath IS.
It’s because there are certain moments we need to see as opportunities to the breathless state by being aware of the breath. Morning; upon waking being one of them. At this time being interiorized and aware of the rhythm of the breath. It is also easier to get into the astral spine and watch the energy going up and down in our Kriya practice.
And the contrast of a starry nite, the expansiveness with the awareness of life and breath being a witness. Sometimes I just lay in bed watching the flow of breath upon waking with my favorite mantra or look at the stars and sky at nite and do the same. After awhile i sit up and begin my practice of meditation.
it is such a beautiful and magical night out, with a cool and gentle breeze- and a clear and starry sky. I sat in my chair and took deep, relaxing breaths. And again out in the yard, under my favorite tree atop cool, moist grass. Sometimes the breath is the most exciting, rewarding experience. Instantaneously soothing, for every part of my being and the relationship with breath sometimes feels like that of a Divine Friend. When we are truly present to the breath, it is at times, a satisfying mystery.
