I brought up this topic because it has a personal significance and my hope is that someone else may receive some encouragement from it. When I was younger I would often meet people who could see colors or auras around other human beings. Also people who have had experience with the third eye and the chakras. Still today I occasionally have the good fortune of meeting such people who appear to be much more spiritually advanced than I am.

When I started meditation I rarely saw anything but darkness during meditation. Although looking at a fire 🔥 or 🕯 candle I was often able to see the image ‘ burned ‘ into my retina.

Now that time has past, I have had many experiences during and from meditation...some of which are with various colors. I attribute it to being patient with my progress... and most of all the grace of being in the presence of Master’s who I have asked for help from in opening up my consciousness in this way. I have personally been told I will get help. The old adage ‘ ask and you will see... knock and the doors shall be open’ applies here. I think the two reasons specifically for ‘seeing’ more are practicing jyoti mudra technique and the grace of the gurus ... while asking for help.
