Soul, Spirit, lifetime number 3,0xx?

Where did this concept of lifetimes come from... even if it's "true" will lifetimes continue past the age of the Universe?

Who was I before the birth of the Universe? What Human Lifetime was that?

Dust blows, Sun shines,

I am none of these

There is no word, symbol, or concept for who I am

I'm not even the concept of "no word, symbol or concept for who I am"
