The Universe is trying to speak with us.

After chatting with friend Eric (here on the forum) I was encouraged by his understanding of both numerology and totems and perhaps gestalts as well. Having more experience in these domains he mentioned to me that people may have their own interpretations of numbers or totems that comes independently of more traditional views. That is, such ‘messages’ may have a personal significance. The Universe is trying to speak to us in its own language. It can speak to each of us personally in its own way.

As an example; One person may see 666 as the number of the beast while another sees it as an angel message from Master numbers.

I suppose that there are general observations that apply to most people but it is quite obvious in the example provided above...that  people can read their own message into different experiences. Much like a song. I can interpret its meaning as one way and you something else. Finally the artist who composed it may have yet a different explanation for its meaning. I guess since most of us are yet quite thick spiritually; it is difficult to accept more accepted versions of the meaning of numbers and totems - let alone distinguishing our own spiritual relationship with them. It is therefore difficult to hear the silent voice (of spirit) within.  However thru spiritual practice and meditation we become more receptive.
