According to Ramana, Sirvakalpa is temporary Samadhi with focused attention (perhaps on a mantra or the breath).  Nirvakalpa is temporary Samadhi with no awareness of the body.  Sahaja Nirvakalpa is the Natural State of permanent abiding in Self.

I believe I may have experienced Nirvakalpa a year ago, for about 3-5 hours.  I have a post on here describing it in detail (of course I can only describe what led up to it and coming out of it, as Samadhi is indescribable).

I’m trying to not make it into a “carrot on a stick”.  All of Life is Samadhi, and those Awakened Ones See It.

Lately, I’m just trying to forget all of it, and just let this body-mind Be What Is.

The words of the Guru are the Water to Purify...

Nisargadatta says “You are not the body.  You are Pure Consciousness”

Have Faith in the Guru’s Word and All Is Done
