I have quite a different approach to these little creatures than I did as a youth. I see these small creatures in their instinctive fear of a giant like me scurrying and trying to escape. Since I know they came to give me a message and they too are evolving upward as we ourselves; I now try to catch them and put them outdoors in a more natural habitat. Patience, Stamina, Community and Planning. Hmmm must be important because the little fellows are dedicated to taking up residence in the kitchen this summer! Looking at all creatures as evolving and progressing gives me much more respect for this body I inhabit and it’s ability to express divine consciousness in this lifetime. Sometimes the littlest of creatures can inspire us! Tonight I felt like just going to sleep but instead I’m now sitting up to meditate because of a little spirit totem Eric brought to our forum. A liittle creature I could have crushed but learned to appreciate instead.
This is nice introspection. Sometimes I think about the life of an insect compared the that of a human and contemplate whether there's a similar effect with divine beings living among us. Angels, spirits or even ET's.
