I have found in this practice an expansion of consciousness and a quickening of evolution. I’m about to admit that I also have come against my own self circumscribed limitations in practice. So in that sense I can understand why some people feel they are not ready yet for Kriya yoga. Paramahansa Yogananda had so many techniques and practices he offered that you would have to weigh and balance them with your daily life and desires. I mean how far and how fast are we willing or able to go, considering our own circumstances we have chosen in our lives. With marriage, kids, a house, a car, hobbies etc. come a lot of time consuming activities. And if we have examined the lives of some of these saints and yogis; they certainly spend thousands of hours, serving others, meditating, praying and in various spiritual practices.
