There is an added section to this section on Kriya for members only. This is because the Self - Realization Fellowship did not want the techniques of Kriya to be given indiscriminately to the public. It is obvious to me the reasoning behind this, at least in part. Because there is a progression of learning that goes in to the practice of Kriya. Just as someone would be unable to go from the practice of simple mathematics which leads to algebra and then calculus and geometry, similarly one must first practice a simple mantra then proceed to the Om technique and energization techniques before practicing Kriya proper and finally the higher Kriya techniques.

It is is not for this site to be a teaching class for how to learn Kriya. For that purpose I suggest contacting the Self Realization Fellowship. However, we do provide information here for Kriya students that has been helpful advice given to us and suggestions in practices offered by the monks and nuns of SRF over the years to members of spiritual portal. And also some general information regarding what we have gleaned from the practice of Kriya and reading the lessons from the Self-Realization Fellowship. The final say so should always come from the Self Realization Fellowship which has helped me in the practice of Kriya Yoga for most of my life.
