What interests me that is different about Amma from many other Masters is that she did not follow a living Guru when she was a youth. She did sing songs to Krishna though. The value I learned from this is that more and more inspiration comes from within as we meditate more. Less and less is needed from the outside. Although for those of us struggling for enlightenment it is still necessary to have the influence of enlightened souls to keep us following the path that leads there. It appears that Amma has reached a state far beyond any worldly desires that would pull her back.
