Woke up in the middle of the nite tonite from a dream. I believe it has something to do with the full moon. I remember it being summer and living in a monastery at one time. I went  up to the library and witnessed the full moon coming up high in the eastern horizon because it is always in the east until later in the evening when it heads west to finally dip into the western sky in the morning. This is because a full moon is always 180 degeea to and opposite the Sun.

The full moon seems to have that effect on consciousness to actually keep us up and willing to meditate instead of falling back to asleep. Seeing as to the fact that tides are effected more strongly during a full moon and various studies have proven that behavior of humans are affected by a full moon,it is not surprising  to think meditation is also affected by a full moon.
