The doves are more noticeable this month for me then they have been for a while. The pigeons usually domineer the higher resting points while the doves seem to be more comfortable around the lower, preferably vacant inner workings of our community. Only lately am I noticing them because of the freedom to get out and walk around more.

This morning however was a different story- these birds were acting rather devilishly, swooping down towards my patio and tempting my two cats. One of my cats is a rescue so I think she was looking at them as if they were breakfast and the other has never interacted with a bird but her hunting instincts were in overdrive. Worried they'd tease my kitties right off the ledge of my patio(we're on the 4th story) I had to shoo the birds away and bring the cats inside. Once inside the birds came back just to taunt my cats who could not help but stare at them from the window.  Cheesy

This part speaks to me today,

'A dove helps to soothe and to quiet our worries and your troubled thoughts. Regardless of the external circumstances going on in our life, peace is always within our reach. The Dove will help us to find renewal in the stillness of your mind through meditation and deep breathing. In the quiet moments of stillness, we will be able to find the inner peace and answers that you are searching for in your life.'

I was letting the little things bother me this morning which caused for ill-planning and poor judgement calls giving reason to worry over today's in person job interview. *Fingers crossed* The doves call will remind me to breathe, recenter and the right perspective will give me the strength to try again and give a better performance next opportunity.
