Steve, this is old news and it's not fake. This article was written before Spicers conference held just today and could use a follow up.

It was Friday or Saturday Spicer gave a preliminary conference to give some details before getting into anything come Monday. Earlier this morning Spicer took question after question and surprisingly only a few(i think just one actually) commented on this petty numbers game... instead reporters asked REAL questions about real issues.

The problem here was the attempt STARTED by the media to defame Trump by suggesting not many showed to his inauguration and then later arguing over the number of attendees rather then focusing on the issues Spicer reported from that very same "preliminary" conference. Like how some members of the democratic party worked to delay Pompeo- or how Trump is looking to improve relations between Canada and Mexico.

Spicers upset not only comes from this one attack but a false tweet made by a "reputable" reporter making a racially charged suggestion by saying President Trump removed the bust of Martin Luther King from his office. This was indeed fake news and even after the reporter gave a half-assed apology he then blamed the incident on someone other than himself. Even though the numbers reported may have been a little off base from the information received, admitted later by Spicer(who gave a better apology then the TIME magazine reporter) it is still believed this is one of the largest inauguration's ever witnessed. The reports don't mention the weather that day or the angry protesters who made meat shields to stop people from getting in(spreading violence and even dividing families). People that weren't there were watching world wide through other means.

Still- why focus on this GARBAGE? Who cares how many people showed up or didn't? This is the kind of crap that entices people to react in a less then humane manner. Focusing on this will plague your mind and spreading its disease is the very reason we have celebrities like Madonna saying she wishes to blow up the white house. Spicers message that day made it very clear that he, Trump and many others are tired of these petty attempts that aim to divide us. It's the media that suggest Trump is racist, homophobic and a bigot. This violence is proof that, despite not knowing Trump, people will give into the narrative the media would have you believe.

I was very pleased to witness reporters today acting maturely and questioning things that matter. I believe it's what Spicer was really asking for in the first place. He said the media will be held accountable for their actions just as it is expected he too should be held accountable for his. Trumps speech that day was one that will be remembered. Whether you liked it or not, he said it was his mission to give the government back to its people- no matter what side you stand on. Asking reporters to report fairly and responsibly is one way to get us to talk to one another.

The biggest challenge I see now is respecting your neighbors and maintaining the peace. Focusing on this junk however is becoming very sad and you may find yourself less patient or more irritable because of it. We don't have to agree on views or whether you like Trump or not but lets cut the crap and focus on real issues... In other news, "Mad dogg" Mattis oversaw 31 airstrikes made against ISIS Saturday.
Or would you like to spend your time focusing on whose crowd size is bigger? I'm directing this part not to one person but to those who are hung up over something so trivial yet this may be their tipping point to go out and commit a violent act.
