after an exercise and stretching out on the lawn i noticed a black dragonfly standing upright on its head like it was doing a headstand. i was prompted to do the same.
then the next night i noticed another upside down yellow dragonfly who, upon further observation, straightened himself out and rested near the brightest light he could find.

The dragonfly is flying towards the ground instead of flying up...

The dragonfly is a positive symbol - it means dreams, fantasy, and enlightenment. Upside down (as with any symbol) it reveals the flaws those traits can change into: irresponsibility, unreliability, weakness, and instability.
