I was reading an article that listed different foods and their health benefits, since it goes with this topic, thought I would just add it in here.

to help lower blood pressure
eat potatoes, dried peaches, avacados & bananas

to help with the memory
eat 1 cup cooked spinach and 1 cup cooked lentils daily
(I wonder why they are saying " cooked " spinach, as I have heard that when one cooks vegetables some of the nutrients escape and it is better to eat fresh fruits and vegetables)

for heart health - Omega 3s
also for smooth skin, weight loss and to boost your mood & minimize arthritis

eat 2-3 servings of fatty fish like salmon, walnuts & spinach
Omega 3s daily for 3 months also helps to improve short term memory

to improve vision
eat 1/2 cup cooked spinach, peas, broccoli and corn
fresh spinach I am sure should work the same.
