Intereststs; Meditation/Spiritual Life

I have found fresh fruit with almonds and pecans, ground to a smoothie, is the ticket. But hard to have that handy on a 3 day hike.

well, I would just pack a compact electrical generator, one can of fuel, a compact blender, 25 pounds of fresh fruits, 2 pounds of nuts. At the end of the hike, when you are more tired, you are packing minus 27 pounds of food and minus 3 pounds of fuel.
I doubt though that the generator can weigh less than 30 punds.

The problem I see 👀 with this approach is that we end up taking our desires with us when we might have initially started out with the idea 💡 of going on a 'spiritual' pilgrimage. Carrying such weight on a 20 mile hike can make your back and shoulders quite sore and it is difficult to fast because your energy will not b like it is while eating.
Especially while carrying such 'weight'.  U will not want to fast. These type of  experiences r a tremendous opportunity to loose attachment to food since the beauty of nature fills the senses and helps keep the mind off this tremendous desire and attachment we humans have for food and satisfying the desires of taste.
