Well, that painting went through a few phases. It started out bright, turned dark, kept morphing. Had a drowned body drifting in it for awhile. lol. My family wanted to know what the odd thing in the lower right corner is. A rock? Part of a ridge? It isn't anything; I just liked the feel and shape of it, but suspect it is either grief - or hidden strength - welling up from below. If you sense a bad energy, it may be because I was distraught during that time - and I use that word casually because I don't have a word for what I really felt.
The actual photo is stunning, though - entirely different. Intense light, stunning pale blues and greens, shimmering water.... lovely! A river in Oregon. Thanks for commenting. Do you paint?

I didnt sense a bad energy, but like you it was a kind of feeling I can't quite put my finger on.
Visually it is very smooth and blendy and has a nice 3D depth to it.
