Meditation is a great tool both for spiritual purposes, but also for improving an overall life experience, I encourage you all to take a look at this article!

"Meditation creates a safe place, a soft place, a blank canvas for your subconscious mind to flourish. It creates the actual events of your life, the experiences"~Kayla

Kayla

i have found this statement, you made in your link, to be most true! There are so many unusual events and people in my life because of meditation. If someone has a true Guru and meditates religiously they certainly won't find life boring! I can not answer for others but I needed a Guru to guide me thru the pitfalls of the spiritual path and provide the techniques that could quiet the mind. Meditation has increased my creativity with the use of the subconscious mind. Yes i would agree though, meditatation, while it most likely started as a spiritual discipline has many other benefits.

Meditation is much more than a spiritual journey. It is becoming a whole you. The best you~Kayla

Isn't  'becoming a whole you'.. 'the best you'...... a spiritual journey? Your description-for me-defines a spiritual journey. A spiritual journey need not ignore our physical life nor any other aspect of the life experience and the meditation experience.  I believe that words draw up a certain meaning in our heads. That meaning may b quite different between one person and another depending on their personal experiences. In a word: simantics.
