Thanks for the welcome. The name (web of life) comes from the standard biology book used in Australia. The genetic links we share with each other and all of creation drive home to me that we are all just part of one great map.
So I'm really just caught in the same web as you lauraa49, and perhaps the spider is maya whose sting may find us struggling away in the delusion of indivi(duality).
I'm happy to find you guys here on what seems like an inspirational website. Thanks for having me.

i've been trying to figure out how you became interested in a standard biology book used in Australia? i believe we are genetically linked in this map also. It is like a main river being connected to smaller tributaries. The main river could not exist with out this continuous flow from smaller sources.

The book was used in high-school biology all so many years ago . Not giving my age away but I am a grandfather albeit an extraordinarily young grandfather.

There's no mystery to my whereabouts...at least I didn't intend any! On my personal information I filled in before joining I marked down Melbourne, Australia. At least I thought I did?
Anyhows I like the thought that age is irrelevant. My physical injuries (I carry a few) remind me I'm no spring-chicken but that's the beauty of meditation I guess...it relieves us of these limiting concepts if only for while. Thanks for your delight Into Blue. I'm delighted to be here.

Press your name Webolife and you will be able to go to your profile. You will see a place that says location. That is where i looked. Suprised you can remember a book from high school it must have had a strong impression on you otherwise you just have a good memory.

I like this a lot, weboflife ~ a very nice reminder of what can be experienced through meditation. There is so much that we can see/experience/gain by moving beyond our physical bodies for a while and I must say that I'm very happy to have had so many of the amazing meditations I've had.

Do you live near the sea or closer to the inner desert? What kind of meditation (if any) do you practice?
