I listen to Los Angeles the most Art. The reason being it is long and can fill a whole meditation routine. When i listen though it is not so much Los Angeles I heard-since i lived there so long-but the inner reaction to it....the aloneness or solitary feeling one often gets when being around too many people.... or losing someone important in life. It is interiorizing music. Loosing someone important to us.... it is a deep felt soul calling a prod to find the lost pieces in our heart. A call to find the giver behind what is now given. The giver that gives all that is remembered with such deep longing.
'To Live and Die in L.A.' was more dramatic. Perhaps your friend lived a more dramatic life there. It appears that she passed at a young age. My life there was always very involved with spiritual activities. Southern California is filled with places to meditate with other human beings and gurus and Master's from around the world visit there. i wish I knew you when you came out there i would have shared some of the places and experiences with you. A friend talked about me coming there again. She lives in the San Diego area. You just never know.... you really never know where life will take you next. As can be seen from your music.....
Hello Art... not sure if you saw my response so I decided to update it.
