Paramahansa Yogananda speaks of his first time coming to America and having just learned the English language and when he was asked to speak on the boat that he came over on. Without saying a word for 10 minutes, when he began talking he said it was not him talking but God was talking from the ether where  the words were coming in from. He later
said that from this day he still does not remember a word he said.

we are also often in difficult times when our mind goes blank. Things in the world cannot give what God can give. We long for friends who are loyal and we can depend on. We must consider other people's happiness as part of our own.. to be continued.

The most important part of the triangle of calmness, sweetness and happiness is calmness.
No matter what comes in our life we are calm and detached and not so involved. then we can be sweet. it naturally falls in your lap. so don't let the world cheat you. we've conditioned  ourselves in restlessness. it is best to be in outer stillness so we can have and create the inner stillness. the environment is very important because the world is very restless. when I was at Hidden Valley I became more more calm because there is such a balanced life there.

look for the good in everything Guru always  saw the Divinity in others he could be the presence of a criminal and still see that divinity. See the good by working out your differences. being attached is the result of doing things only one way-our way- we are in trouble when that happens. I remember once making some pies at srf. Most of the people liked them. There were sa couple monks that said: that's just not the way to make pie. But I said nothing. Why should it matter?  There are hundreds of ways to make a pie.

When we enter into the silence just a little during the day we enter the calmness. we can build on this calmness. But we need support from the outside where the environment is conducive to peacefulness. because the play will not change for us. You'll always have shadow and lite ups and downs. we are still in the early stage of  the dwapara yoga.  So we are forced to go within. Give the best to the world best will come back to you.
